This channel features more of an art journal approach to nature journaling, with some beautiful compositions, and ideas for craft projects.

Hanson, Roseann Beggy. (2020). Nature Journaling for a Wild Life. Natural Selection Press. https://www.exploringoverland.com/shop/p/nature-journaling

Self-published by a woman who travels extensively. Hanson has a background in biology, and has some great ideas for working in the field.

One of the most visible and vocal proponents of nature journaling today, John Muir Laws does a really great job of incorporating nature journaling into a thoughtful, creative, practice. His focus is primarily on drawing for nature journaling; as a child he struggled with dyslexia and used drawing as a pathway for exploration.
